Pine Island Little League last signup set; Team-Making Week starts Monday
The last signup for Pine Island Little League Spring Season will be Thursday, Feb. 9, from 6-7:30 p.m., at the concession stand.
The season begins with Team-Making Week!
Majors: Monday, Feb. 13, at 6 p.m.
Minors: Thursday, Feb. 16, at 6 p.m.
Tball: Thursday, Feb. 16, at 5:30 p.m.
Practices are Mondays and Wednes-days at 6 p.m. for the Majors, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 p.m. for the Minors and
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. for TBall.
Opening Day will be Saturday, March 11, and Spring Season will run through May.
Uniforms, trophies and opening and closing day picnics are included in one low registration fee of $50 for those registering on the advertised sign-up dates, or $60 thereafter. Also, there is a discount for multiple children in one family. Don’t forget to bring three proofs of residency, and new players will need to bring a birth certificate.
The Bobby Holloway Jr. Memorial Fund will cover the cost of any child who is unable to pay the registration fee!Coaches, umpires, volunteers and board members are always needed.
