Pine Island Community Christmas Boat Parade scheduled for Dec. 10
The Pine Island Community Christmas Boat Parade will be held Saturday, Dec. 10, in St. James City starting at 6 p.m.
The parade will honor the sacrifices of our law enforcement professionals by flying a “Thin Blue Line” flag. Flags will be available at the captain’s meeting and on the day of the event.
All individuals, boat clubs, organizations and businesses are invited to participate in this community event.
The boat line-up will begin at 4 p.m. on the Monroe Canal. The staging area is Woody’s Waterside restaurant north to the Ragged Ass Saloon including the Low Key Tiki.
The parade route will remain the same as in previous years and will include the Monroe, Cherry Estates and Henley waterways.
The captain’s meeting will be held Friday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m., at the Ragged Ass Saloon, 3421 Stringfellow Road.
