Legion Post 136 to host Introduction to Medicare 101
The St. James City American Legion Post 136 will be holding its second annual Health Care educational seminar. This endeavor is a free and open to everyone within the community. The meeting will last approximately one hour. This is also in no way a solicitation for business, just educational.
Thursday, Nov. 3, the seminar will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be hosted by Insurance Options Inc., a local insurance agency offering Medicare plans with offices in Cape Coral. The topics to be covered will be as follows:
Do you have questions about Medicare? Are you turning 65 soon? Retiring soon? Trouble paying for your prescription medications? New to Florida?
Learn more about your options, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Also, those with VA medical benefits can see how Medicare plans may provide extra benefits, if you qualify.
This is not a meeting for folks with Tricare.
