Last music show of summer at Seven Seas, Sunday
Sandbar Productions will hold its final Dock Party at Seven Seas Bait and Tackle on Sunday, June 19.
“I encourage people to come by boat,” owner Jim Frock said. “There isn’t enough parking here and this is a great excuse to get out on these beautiful waters and use your boat.”
Some of the bands that have played are: Elle Lee and Blues Fury, Brent Johnson, Funkbone and Insiders.
“The Insiders are playing this coming weekend,” Frock said. “They were scheduled before but we were rained out. This is a great band and everyone always enjoys their day listening to their music.”
Sandbar Productions generally stops the dock parties in June because July and August are so hot and there’s always a good chance for rain.
“This is just a great way to have a party, use your boat and avoid the traffic all together,” Frock said. “And it’s something to do on a Sunday afternoon. I pay for the band but donations are welcome to help defray the costs.”
The band starts at 1 p.m. and plays until 5 p.m.
