Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary to hold Live and Silent Auction
Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary will be holding its third annual Live and Silent Auction Thursday, March 24.
“The goal of the event is not only to raise money to support the almost 200 cats in our care, but to also form relationships with community businesses,” Helping Paws director Marnie Miszewski said.
The auction will be held at the German American Social Club on Pine Island Road in Cape Coral.
“We are asking that you donate items that not only would help us raise money but would help represent your organization. We will promote your organization at the event and, in exchange for multiple donations, we will add your logo to all advertising of the event.”
The Silent Auction will be held during happy hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30. Dinner will be catered by Bubba’s Roadhouse and will include items from its menu plus vegan options.
After dinner, the Live Auction will be held.

“We’ve had items donated by Ford’s Garage, Broadway Palm, Zulu Nyala, Wentworth Realty Group, Esterra, Key West Express, Lowe’s and several others,” Miszewski said.
Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no kill shelter, housing almost 200 healthy cats and kittens as well as special needs, FIV and FELV cats. They are housed in rooms not cages; waited on by loving volunteers, have toys, TVs with cat videos and water fountains. The goal of the shelter is to not only find them homes, but to provide a wonderful home for the cats while they are in our care.
