Kiwanis holds final pool party

The Kiwanis of Pine Island held its final pool party of the season Friday night.

“This the last pool party until next summer,” Susan Saulsbery said. “We have a pretty good crowd again even though they called for chance of rain.”

The Kiwanis sponsors several parties each summer.

“We have hot dogs, cookies, watermelon and drinks” Saulsbery said. “And it’s free for everyone who attends.”

Summer pool hours are in effect:

Monday, 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Sunday, 1 to 5:45 p.m.

The Kiwanis meets weekly on Friday’s at 7:30 a.m. at Bert’s Bar, 4271 Pine Island Road in Matlacha.
