Clawson to speak at Lovegrove Gallery
Curt Clawson, Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, District 19, will be attending a reception at Leoma Lovegrove’s Gallery & Gardens Monday, April 14, at 5:30 p.m.
“I am happy that Curt accepted my invitation to come and speak to the voters of Matlacha and Pine Island,” said Lovegrove. “This primary election there has been quite a bit of misinformation about Curt in ads and mailers. This is the perfect opportunity to learn about his positions on issues, his business achievements and what he can offer to the citizens of District 19 as their representative in Congress.”
Clawson’s first meet and greet was held in February in St. James City and he was intrigued by Matlacha as he drove through.
“It’s a great little village so I am looking forward to being a guest at Leoma’s gardens,” Clawson said. “The island citizens I met back in February demonstrated they are well informed, care deeply about this district and are not shy about asking tough questions. I look forward to meeting more of the voters and letting them know why I, as a D.C. outsider, can best represent them in Washington.”
