Chiquita Lock holiday hours
The Chiquita Lock will be changing operating hours for the holidays. On Wednesday, Dec. 25, the lock will be open from 8 a.m. to noon. The lock will be closed to all boat traffic from noon to 6 p.m., with callback service available after 6 p.m.: (239) 542-5661. In case of an emergency, boaters can call the Cape Police main number at (239) 574-3223.
The lock will resume regular operating hours at 6 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 26.
For the New Year’s celebration, the lock will remain open until midnight Dec. 31 to accommodate late-night boat traffic. After midnight, the callback service will be available until 6 a.m. on New Year’s Day when regular operating hours resume.
