Rep. Rodrigues to speak at Patriots’ meeting
The Lee County Patriots will hold its monthly meeting Friday, Oct. 18, at 6:30 p.m., at the Matlacha Community Center, 4577 Pine Island Road, N.W. in Matlacha. The public is invited to attend.
The October meeting’s featured speaker is State Rep. Ray Rodrigues, who represents citizens in District 76 which is one of the larger districts in the state and includes Bonita Springs, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel and Pine Island. He will speak about issues pertinent to the district as well as how the state of Florida is dealing with the many state and federal programs and mandates. Questions are invited from the public.
