OCTOBERBREAST celebration Oct. 20 at Miceli’s
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, From Our Hearts is preparing for its annual OCTOBERBREAST celebration at Miceli’s Restaurant, Sunday, Oct. 20, from noon-8 p.m.
The purpose of the event is to raise funds through the sale of a calendar. The artwork for this year’s calendar was created by the students of Pine Island Elementary School.

The National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM) is a collaboration of national public service organizations, professional medical associations and government agencies working together to promote breast cancer awareness, share information on the disease and provide greater access to services.
From Our Hearts is a small organization with a big heart. It is dedicated “to help in the fight to find a cure for the debilitating disease of breast cancer and help those that for one reason or another need a helping hand.”
OCTOBERBREAST at Miceli’s will include an auction of the “original” framed artwork as well as calendars for purchase.
There will also be live music (four bands) and live auctions.
Miceli’s Restaurant is at 3930 Pine Island Road, Matlacha.
