Legion Post 136 donation

The Pine Island American Legion Post 136 has donated $500 to the annual walk-a-thon for blind veterans for the last 10 years. The event is held at Lakes Park in Fort Myers. Dick Thomas was one lucky fella when he found himself surrounded by members of the Calendar Girls Dance Team. Along with Dick was his wife, Marianne, and brother, John, and his wife, Fran. The Calendar Girls also raise money for the training of Seeing Eye Dogs for blinded Vets.
