Saturday evening, the American Legion held their annual adult party at the legion hall. Music was provided by the band Smalltown.

“This band keeps everybody dancing,” said Linda Lewis, American legion Auxiliary Unit 136 president. “And the hall is full. This is one of the events that people have the most fun at.”

About 200 people filled the hall Saturday evening as Smalltown, a band of just two people with a very big sound played a wide variety of music including Classic Rock, R&B, Reggea, Tropical etc… ?Princess Johnson provides vocals, singing everything from Aretha Franklin to Rhianna, and Alan Small sings and plays guitar with his own extraordinary style shredding out your favorite rock classics.

Sunday more than 100 children arrived to celebrate Halloween with hot dogs, chips, soda and ice cream. The day also included pumpkin painting, crafts and games.
