Decorations needed for annual Holiday House of H.O.P.E.
The Beacon of H.O.P.E. is in need of some Christmas holiday decorations: lights, wreaths, garland, artificial trees, outdoor decorations, tree ornaments, home decorations and anything reusable for the holiday season. These donated items will help transform the Historic Tarpon Lodge into the Holiday House of H.O.P.E. The pubic is invited to take the tour Dec. 4-7.
The Beacon of H.O.P.E. offers assistance to the Greater Pine Island community through a myriad of programs to address the needs of the community: Meals on Wheels, ACCESS, AARP, Elder Care, Medical assistance, Prescription Drug Assistance, Lee County Human Resources and much more.
“This is our fourth annual Holiday House and I expect it will be our biggest and best fundraiser for the Beacon of H.O.P.E. yet,” Elsie Stearns said. “These donated holiday decorations will be available for purchase all four nights as people take the holiday tour.”
There will be a wide array of live entertainment, artists, authors and craftsmen each evening of the event.
We need your help. Please drop off your decorations at Beacon of H.O.P.E., 5465 Pine island Road, Bokeelia.
