Donations help at Pine Island Pool

Thanks to the Matlacha Mariners, Bobby Holloway Memorial Corporation, Kiwanis Club of Greater Pine Island, Michele Hall, Jim and Kathy Morrris, Mary F. and an anonymous donor of $650, $2,700 in donations have been collected from pool patrons and local organizations. Without these donations the dive board would have been gone from the pool. The Pine Island Pool is the only facility with a dive board in Lee County for the public use. The children, visitors and, of course, adults love the board. The island also has the Pine Island Dolphin dive team, coached by Jim Runas, that uses the board for local and state dive meets. Thank you so much Pine Island for always stepping up for the Pine Island Pool.
