12th Annual Ladies of the Elks Fashion Show and Luncheon March 21
The 12th Annual Ladies of the Elks Fashion Show and Luncheon will grace the Pine Island Elks Lodge later this month to raise funds for one of the many charities it supports.
The Ladies of the Elks will host the fashion show March 21 featuring fashions from Belk’s Department Store.
Linda Schulz, who is a LOTE member, will have an accessory boutique set up with items for sale by island designers from 11 a.m. until noon the day of the show.
Tickets for “Swing into Spring” are $15 apiece and must be purchased before the March 21 event. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the luncheon begins at noon.

LOTE is comprised of approximately 70 women who donate their time to assist the community through one of the many functions that are held. The charities they currently support are Pine Island Food Pantry, Children’s Summer Camp and Pine Island Elementary School to purchase shoes and materials for their after school program.
Individuals do not have to be a member of the Elks to join the Ladies of the Elks. Dues, which are $20 a year, are applied to the charities the group supports.
The meetings, which are held October through April, are typically held the second Monday of the month.
