Pine Island Little League Spring Season sign-ups Saturday
Pine Island Little League Spring Season sign-ups will be held at the concession stand on Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. All children from age 4 to 14 are welcome and sign-ups are $40 until Jan.12. After Jan. 12, sign-ups will be $50. There is also a discount for signing up multiple children.
Forms for sign-ups are available at www.pineislandlittleleague.org and will also be available on sign-up day. Re-turning players need to bring three proofs of residency (current bills showing your address), and new players will need three proofs of residency and a birth certificate.
The Pine Island Little League is a non-profit athletic organization that relies on registration fees, team sponsors and donations from the community to pay for the day-to-day operation of the only organized sports organization for children on Pine Island. Adults who participate as coaches, referees and concession stand attendants are all volunteers with no money to go toward salaries of any kind within the league. Coaches, umpires, and volunteers are always needed, and you do not need to have a child in little league to become involved.
