Capricorn

I decided to choose a sweet black cat for our Christmas kitty. We have such trouble getting them adopted, I thought maybe a little Christmas magic would help! Capricorn is such a playful boy. He loves to chase a ball, wrestle with his toys and anything with catnip! He is extremely intelligent and very affectionate. Capricorn is 3 years-old and adaptable to any environment. If you would like to be his Santa Paws, give us a call 239-283-9100!

Fritz

This is Fritz. He is a handsome tuxedo kitten with fluffy long fur. It’s hard to believe this little boy is already a year old! He still loves to do all the things kittens like to do. He LOVES people. In fact he follows the shelter staff around asking for attention. When no one is available to play, he invents his own games or finds a quiet place to nap. He is well behaved and is never in any trouble. My only complaint about him is that he won’t sit still for a photo! When I point the camera at him he walks over to crawl in my lap. This is the best I could do and it really doesn’t do him justice. Come in and meet this little cutie-pie! Call Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary at 239-283-9100. As a side note, Gus and Ernie were both adopted after appearing in the paper. Thanks everyone!

Ernie

This handsome 3-year-old boy is a polydactyl kitty. Also known as a “Hemmingway Cat” after the writer’s first cat, polydactyl cats have extra toes on their paws. In this case Ernie has extra toes on both his front paws. You can’t see them in this picture because Ernie doesn’t want people to know he is “different.” He likes to play hide and go seek, chase toys and of course eat treats! He is very social and cautiously curious about his surroundings. He is affectionate, but not needy. I can’t imagine this beautiful special kitty will be with us long. Call Helping Paws at 239-283-9100 and don’t miss your chance to meet Ernie!
