Friends’ Summer Book Sale July 7 at library
Just a reminder for the book readers of Pine Island. The Friends of the Library will again hold a Summer Book Sale on July 7 at the library.
Set up for the sale will be on Friday, July 6 from 12-3 p.m. in the library meeting room. Members of the Friends of the Library should call Jeanne Adams at 283-3247 to sign up for helping on Friday and Saturday. Members who sign up and come in to help on Friday will be given the opportunity to look through the books as they are sorted and buy on that day in advance of the sale on Saturday.
If you would like to join Friends of Pine Island Library, pick up a membership form at the library check-out desk and submit it along with the membership fee of $5. Then you can sign up to help us with the sale set-up on July 6, pick out your books in advance, as well as attend the 2012-2013 monthly meeting, which will begin in October. We hope to see you at our book sale and at our meetings.
