Pine Island Puzzle debuts during Creative Coast Weekend
Visitors to Bert’s Pine Bay Gallery during Creative Coast weekend had an opportunity to be among the first to assemble the newly released Pine Island puzzle.
“We’ve had fun with this,” said Deb Cole, manager of the gallery. “Marie Cahill, whose art makes up the puzzle, put together the outer edges and little by little, the puzzle is coming together.”
When completed, the puzzle will be mounted and hung in the gallery. The finished size is 24-by-30 inches.
Sales of the puzzle benefit the Pine Island Chamber of Commerce.
The puzzle can be purchased at various Matlacha locations, including Island Decor & More, the Matlacha Post Office, Little Lilly’s Island Deli, Earth & Spirit Garden Gallery and at the chamber of commerce. Other merchants are expecting to receive the puzzle soon.
“I think this would make a terrific Christmas gift for snowbirds to send back home,” said Cole. “Although the recipients might be a little jealous knowing the gift giver is spending the winter here in paradise.”
