As the end of the school year swiftly approaches, the staff of the Pine Island Eagle is preparing to honor this year’s graduates. those graduating are asked to submit a recent photo of yourself, but if the photo was taken by a professional photographer or studio, it must be accompanied by a written copywrite release, however, photos taken by friends or family members may be submitted as well.
In addition, the Pine Island Eagle is asking students for biographies outlining the students’ accomplishments in academics and/or sports, school involvements, club memberships, GPAs, volunteer activities and other extracurricular activities and hobbies.
Students may also include their current position in the work force and what they intend to do after graduation. If the student is planning to attend a school of higher education, please include the name and location of the school and your intended field of study.
The deadline for submissions for student bios is Tuesday, May 31. The photos and bios may be dropped off at the Pine Island Eagle, weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. or mailed to Pine Island Eagle, 10700 Stringfellow Road, Suite 60, Bokeelia, FL 33922.
