With funding made possible by AARP, the Beacon of HOPE is seeking to fill two paid employment positions for seniors. The program established by AARP is intended to assist seniors who find themselves in need of returning to the workforce. Those accepted will learn new skills and earn income at the same time.

At this time, two positions are available at the Beacon. Each of the positions available will involve a 25-hour work week and applicants are considered keeping age and income in mind as determined by AARP. Those interested can apply to serve as a teacher’s assistant for the SAS after school program provided at the Beacon of HOPE or to work part-time in the Beacon Thrift Store.
