Matlacha bridge replacement update
Beginning on Tuesday, March 8, through Friday, March 25, the contractor will be working adjacent to the Matlacha Pass Channel and will have to position equipment to close the channel to boat traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Depending on the work schedule, the channel will not always be closed; boaters can call the Matlacha Bridge Tender at (239)283-2414 for a daily recorded message detailing closures. No closures are currently planned for Sundays.
