Legion member, Dick Thomas display an award presented by the John Thomas on behalf of Blind Veterans Association.
On behalf of the Pine Island American Legion Post 136, Dick Thomas, post service officer accepts a certificate of appreciation from brother John Thomas the SW FL District Director of the Blinded Veterans Association. This was presented for the continued support Post 136 has shown for the annual Walk-a-Thon. The post has annually donated $500 to help Blinded Vets in this district. The event was held at Lakes Park and was attended by Legion members John and his wife Fran, Dick and his wife Marianne.
