2. McGregor Boulevard, Fort Myers
3. Alico Road, Fort Myers
Locations are selected based upon high incidents of crashes, traffic surveys and citizen complaints. The Sheriff’s Office is committed to promoting traffic safety and enforcing the law. Written Warnings Issued: 169

Note: Traffic Safety Tip of the Week: Periodically, downpours create treacherous road conditions. Slow down and increase distance between you and other vehicles to prevent mishaps. Also, remember to turn your lights on, as required under Florida law, when you encounter not only rain, but fog and smoke, too.

Daily traffic enforcement update
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is providing the information listed below in continuing efforts to increase traffic safety awareness and education, plus to emphasize the importance of obeying traffic laws to reduce traffic crashes, injuries and death on Lee County roads.
On Thursday, July 1, 2010, the Traffic Unit will target at least one of the following three locations for enforcement:
1. 23rd Street S.W., Lehigh Acres
2. Orange River Road, Fort Myers
3. Business U.S. 41, Bonita Springs
