Annual Book Bash drew hundreds of visitors to St. James City
Nearly one thousand fans were present on Saturday during the annual Book Bash in St. James City. Hosted by Woody’s Waterside Restaruant, Matlacha author, Robert Macomber shared the release of his newest novel.
During the nine hour event, Macomber was kept busy greeting his readers and signing copies of the latest in the Honor series, The Darkest Shade of Honor.
“Readers come from near and far to help celebrate the release of my books each year,” Macomber said. “It is a great way to introduce folks to the island community, share adventure stores and enjoy one of the biggest parties of the year.”
For the next several weeks, Macomber will host book signing events throughout the state of Florida and then set sail aboard the Queen Mary 2 where he serves as the guest book author to guests on this famous luxury liner. A active lecturer on the topic of navel history, Macomber also traveled aboard the Silver Shadow earlier this year and visited the exotic locations of French Polynesia, Tahiti and Bora Bora among other stops.
