Ring in the New Year with the Pine Island Elks

1 min read

Those looking for an “evening to remember” will want to mark Dec. 31 on their calendars as the Greater Pine Island Elks Lodge hosts an event to say goodbye to 2009 and welcome in 2010.

On New Year’s Eve, the Elks lounge will open at 4:30 p.m. and a sumptuous dinner will be served at 7 p.m. On the menu will be a cooked-to-order New York strip steak, baked potato and a super salad bar as well as dessert, coffee and all the trimmings — all included for the price of admission. Also included will be noise makers to welcome in the New Year as well as hors d’oveures.

Providing entertainment for the evening will be Smokin Bill, who begins playing music suitable for dancing at 11 p.m.

The cost of dinner and a New Year’s Eve party is $40 per person. Reservations will be limited and tickets can be obtained by calling Sue Trimble at 283-4477, Jo deShaw at 282-1071 or Bonnie K at 283-8115 or stop in at the Elks Lodge located at the island center on Monday, Wednesday or Friday evening.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Harry-Anna Trust for Florida Elks Children Therapy Services.
