Dog is taken from yard
On Saturday, Aug. 29, Ralph Kemp’s best friend became the victim of a dognapping. While he was standing in his front yard at 4225 Pine Island Road in Matlacha, Kemp was distracted by a neighbor when a woman in a white car stopped in front of his residence and picked up his 10-month-old dog and drove away in the direction of Cape Coral.
The dog is described as a small white terrier mix weighing 9 1/2 pounds and answers to Little Dog.
Bert’s Bar and Grill in Matlacha has put up a $50 cash reward for the return of the dog and posters of the missing pooch will be hung throughout the area with more information.
Anyone with any information about the dognapping is asked to call Kemp at 283-4170.
