Tropical Storm Danny advisory, 5 a.m. Aug. 27
Satellite and aircraft data indicate that the center of Danny has reformed a little farter to the north and was estimated to be about 370 miles east-northeast of Nassau and about 575 miles south-southwest of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.
Danny is moving toward the northwest near 10 mph and this general motion is expected to continue today. A turn toward the north with increase in forward speed is expected on Friday.
Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph with higher gusts. Slow strengthening is forecast during the next couple of days.
Tropical force winds extend outward up to 205 miles from the center.
