5 p.m. update on Hurricane Bill

At 5 p.m. the center of Hurricane Bill is located near the Lesser Antilles.

Bill is moving toward the west-northwest near 16 mph and this motion is expected to continue for the nest couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 90 mph with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours and Bill could become a major hurricane by Wednesday.
