Lee County Emergency Operations Center to host free hurricane seminars
Hurricanes are a fact of life in Southwest Florida, so preparation should be as well. People, who are prepared, survive and recover from hurricanes more easily, quickly and cost effectively than those who are unprepared.
Lee County Emergency Management is hosting two, free hurricane preparedness seminars to help you be better prepared. This is your opportunity to learn from our staff and other experts.
Please join us at the Lee County Emergency Operations Center (2665 Ortiz Avenue in Fort Myers) for one of these informative seminars. The dates are:
Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 7 p.m.; or
Sunday, July 26, 2009 at 2:30 p.m.
Also, join us after the presentation for a tour of the Emergency Operations Center and the Mobile Response Unit.
A detailed agenda is available for each session. Visit www.LeeEOC.com and click on the “Breaking News” section.
If you have any questions, please contact the Lee County Emergency Operations Center at 239-533-3622.
