City of Fort Myers downtown utility and streetscape improvements project
Thompson Street from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Fowler Street is scheduled to close for construction Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Parking lots will still be available for use. Thompson Street will be closed between the driveways of the Human Services/Lee County (T3) parking lot to the Lee County Constitutional Complex/Lee County parking lots (including the Royal Palm Avenue intersection). See attached map.

From Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (east/west) or Fowler Street (south) take Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Jackson Street, north on Jackson Street, east (right) on Second Street, south (right) on Fowler Street, west (right) on Thompson street to parking lots.

From Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (west) Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard/Lee/Thompson intersection, take Thompson Street to parking lots.
