Attention graduating class of 2009
As the 2008-09 school year swiftly comes to an end, it is time to highlight the accomplishments of this year’s graduating class.
The Pine Island Eagle staff is now asking this year’s grads for information it can share with readers. Please submit a recent photo of yourself. If the photo was taken by a professional photographer or by a photography studio, it must be accompanied by a written copyright release from the photographer or the studio to be dated for one-time use prior to August.
In addition, the Pine Island Eagle is asking for biographies outlining the students’ accomplishments in academics and/or sports, school involvements, club membership, GPAs, volunteer activities and other extracurricular activities and hobbies.
Students may also include their current position in the work force and what they intend to do after graduation. If the student is planning to attend a school of higher education, please include the name of the school.
Submit your information at the Pine Island Eagle office located just north of the island center in the Island Exchange Building during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., or mail the information to The Pine Island Eagle, 10700 Stringfellow Road, Suite 60, Bokeelia, FL 33922, attention Editor.
