Kiwanis: Tervis Tumblers are back
The members of the Greater Pine Island Kiwanis have announced that it has received the first shipment of this year’s commemorative Pine Island Tervis Tumblers.
This year the life-time guaranteed tumblers depict a familiar site on Pine Island. The image on the tumbler is a shrimp boat that was produced by local artist Robin Harvey. Past Pine Island tumblers include the Island Zone sign created by popular artist Dot Birmingham and the second, depicts one of Pine Island Sound’s familiar fish shacks produced by painter, Mel Meo.
For many Pine Islanders, the tumblers have become very collectable as they are all uniquely Pine Island images produced by Pine Island artists and are limited in quantity.
The cost of a Pine Island Tervis Tumbler is $12 each and all proceeds from the sale of the tumblers will directly benefit the youth of Pine Island.
Tumblers can be purchased at Riverside Bank, SunTrust Bank, Century 21, Southwest Capital Bank, the Pine Island Water Company and at the Greater Pine Island Chamber of Commerce, Bank of America.
