Low Key Tiki girls hold first ‘Second Hand Run’

The Low Key Tiki girls held their first “Second Hand Run” last Wednesday.

“This is a new event we’ve dubbed the ‘Low Key Cutie’s 1st Annual Second Hand Run,'” organizer Barb Riordan said. “We have a group of 30 40 ladies who will be participating today.”

The way the “Second Hand Run” works is, each member places her name and clothing sizes on a paper. Then members select an entry and purchase an outfit from any second hand store. The spending limit is $10.

“There are a few small rules,” Riordan said. “No spandex, lingerie or anything that would make someone uncomfortable. No accessories so each of us can do that ourselves. The idea is to have fun with the outfit.”

Following photos at Low Key Tiki, the group made their way via golf cart caravan to the Legion, Froggy’s, Ragged Ass and then returned to the Tiki.
