Miceli’s Restaurant recently donated $5,000 to the local Wounded Warrior Anglers of America Inc., a group of Pine Island residents who raise funds to help rehabilitate the mind, body and soul of service members who have been injured, wounded or disabled in the line of duty.

The 501 (3) (c) charitable organization primarily provides fishing therapy and comradery with other veterans in a friendly, healing environment and also helps support their caregivers and family with attentive, restorative healing services. Wounded Warrior Anglers’ chapters are located in Matlacha, Port Charlotte, Jackson-ville, and the Southeast coast of Florida.
