Mango Republic boutique now open

On Nov. 12, Bokeelia resident Nilba Hansinger opened a “unique-boutique” named Mango Republic at the Pine Island Center behind Subway.

“I was a court interpreter and traveled every day to Fort Myers,” Hansinger said. “I just decided to something more fun and closer to home. I decided on this type business because I’ve always collected items that were unique and I thought it would make a great business.”

Mango Republic is at 5509 Pine Island Road, Bokeelia. Hours at the boutique are Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. 5:30 p.m. For information, call 239-841-2542.
