Grand opening set for Netshops USA in Matlacha
There’s a new shop in Matlacha called Netshops USA LLC, which is already dubbed “the biggest little shop in Matlacha.” It is owned by Roy and Jan Sheen, who many of you know from the time they owned Potentherbs and the UPS shipping center.
They are planning a grand opening on Wednesday, Nov. 28.
“We planned from the inception of this idea to make our shop different from others,” said Roy.
And different it is. It spans two buildings divided into separate product lines. One side is a boutique featuring women’s clothing priced from $20 along with high quality costume jewelry to accent the clothing. Jan also offers an extensive line of custom T-shirts. The walls of the store are lined with many transfers to choose from. You pick the transfer and the shirt in your favorite color and Jan puts it together.
“Bring me your favorite photo and I’ll put it on a shirt.” said Jan.
She also has a nice line-up of custom made holiday clothes for the season. Jan will soon be coming out with her own line of clothes called “JanRags.”
The other side is Roy’s baby. It features an unlikely assortment of products. The walls are covered with surfboard and flip-flop wall art made locally by artist Scott Hickman. He also carries many gift items ranging from gold and crystal nightlights, beautiful Pine Island candles, to stun guns and pepper spray. Roy is also pursuing his love of herbs and natural healing and is featuring the Zyto Compass, the latest in computer technology which does a scan on you and determines which of your 75 bio-markers are out of range and then provides a print-out and comprehensive report telling you which natural supplements would be needed to bring them back into range.
“This thing is amazing,” said Roy. “When I first did a scan on myself it was eerie how it picked up on my known health issues and alerted me to a few I was unaware of.”
The scans are priced by many health professionals at $120.
“We want to make it affordable so we are only going to charge $25,” said Roy. “On our grand opening day I plan on doing as many scans as possible for free.”.
Grand opening day will also feature song writer and singer Mark Northey, artist Scott Hickman will be painting his art and personalizing it for you.
Each person making a purchase will also receive a free gift. Netshops USA LLC is located at 4195 N.W. Pine Island Road.
