75 texts donated through Books for Hungry Minds Project
Thank you Pine Islanders. During the month of October, 75 books were donated to the Books for Hungry Minds Project.
Books for Hungry Minds is sponsored by the Friends of the Pine Island Library.
Used and new preschool, school age and young adult books are collected and distributed by the organization. This year the books are being distributed through the Pine Island Community Church’s Sunday night supper gathering.
New and gentled used books may be placed in the big blue barrel inside the Stonegate Bank on Stringfellow Road. The Friends of the Library greatly appreciate the support received for this project.
