Winn-Dixie giving out N95 masks and sanitizer
Island Winn-Dixie store manager Dan Loughren wants islanders to know the store is now giving away N95 masks and hand sanitizer wipes.
“We got sent a whole pallet of these masks to give away to our customers and employees. We have a sign and we’re asking people just to take three, but we have so many that we’re not policing it,” Loughren said.
Although the pandemic seems to have died down a bit, Loughren said you never know what might be just around the corner, emphasizing the importance of the masks.
“We’re just trying to protect the community. We want people to know they can stock up on the masks before the next wave of something,” Loughren said, adding that hopefully there will be no more waves.
