Wilkinson to conduct next workshop for Order of Golden Brush at SJCCA
The St. James City Association’s painting group, Order of the Golden Brush, invites members and non-members to a zentangle inspired workshop with Alexandra Wilkinson Wednesday, Feb. 23, from 1-4 p.m. Wilkinson is a resident artist at the Union Artists Studios in Fort Myers. Her whimsical figurative work is found in private collections and locally at the Union Artists Studios in Fort Myers and Arts for ACT Gallery.
Zentangle inspired art is the process of creating semi-abstract art with pen and ink. In this workshop, students will be guided in creating a “Zen Flower Garden” using first acrylic paint as a “wash.”

The Order of the Golden Brush continues to provide a supportive atmosphere for novice and experienced artists at the colorful building on Fourth Avenue and Lemon Street in St. James City each Tuesday morning at 10.
