Adult Programs

Bring your fully charged digital device for this hands-on help session. Note: Please bring any passwords you may need for downloading apps. Adult Coloring
9:30 a.m., Fridays, March 11, 25
Researchers and art therapists alike have touted the calming effects of coloring and adults have found this childhood activity a refreshing way to release their creativity, relieve stress and meet other participants. Coloring pages designed especially for adults, as well as colored pencils, will be provided.
Tech Thursdays: One-on-One Help

Need help with a laptop, tablet or e-reader? Are you looking to gain basic computer skills? We can help. Bring your fully charged device and any passwords for a 15-minute, one-on-one technology session. Registration is required.
Children’s Programs
Celebrate Read Across America

Read Across America brings the joys of reading to students of all ages. Celebrate Read Across America at Pine Island Public Library by enjoying a special storytime featuring our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, crafts and games.
Learning with Magnatiles
10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 8
Preschoolers will enjoy learning the letters of the alphabet while building with Magnatiles.
Family Storytime
10:30 a.m., Tuesdays, March 15, 29
For children through age 5 and caregivers. Families with young children enjoy a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement. Space is limited to 20 children. First come, first served.

Teen Book Discussion Meet-Up
11 a.m., Saturday, March 12
For ages 12-18. Meet new friends, play games and take part in developing the library’s Teen Book Club. Bring your ideas and pick titles for our reading list.
Spring Break Escape!
1 p.m., Wednesday, March 23
Join other teens as we try and solve clues in order to unlock the mysteries inside the box.
