Friends of the Pine Island Library February Book Sale to be held at PIUMC
The Friends of the Pine Island Library February Book Sale will be held this Saturday, Feb. 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Wesley Hall at the Pine Island United Methodist Church, 5701 Pine Island Road, Bokeelia.
As in the past, members of the Friends of the Pine Island Library who have current memberships may shop early at the PIUMC on Friday, Feb. 18, 5-7 p.m.
New and used books will include mystery, romance, fiction, cookbooks and more. The sale will also include the Bag of Books option.
Pre-order a bag of books and drive-through pickup service will be available for those unable to come in person. Please call 785-213-4481 or email BookSale@FriendsofPILibrary.org Feb. 7-14. Please supply your name, phone number, number of bags and the genre from the choices above. You will receive a confirmation of your order.
The Friends will also be selling gardening books at the Garden Gala on Saturday, Feb. 19, at Phillips Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Friends will be following CDC guidelines and masks will be required to enter the sale.
Proceeds from the Friends Book Sales support Friends of the Pine Island Library programs and community events. The library is located at 10701 Russell Road, Bokeelia, just northwest of the island Center. For additional information about the library, please call 239-533-4350.
