Ahrens guest instructor for Dolphin Art Night hosted by VFW Post 4353
VFW Post 4353 in St. James City just teamed with Bob Ahrens of Inspired Strokes Painting Parties to complete its first successful painting party Jan. 14.
Organizers said the event was so successful that the post will be doing more painting parties in the future. All class spots were sold out and participants had 3 hours of fun!
Participants made new friends, partied with old friends and created great paintings of beautiful dolphins.
Ahrens walked the group through step by step and provided all supplies to complete a 16 x 20 completed canvas to take home.
The participants reported they loved how Ahrens walked around with tips and shared his expertise.
The VFW invites the public to the next painting party featuring “The Love Birds” scheduled for Friday, Feb. 11, from 5-7 p.m.
