Five Wishes Workshop to be held Jan. 26
St. John’s Episcopal Church to host a The beginning of the year is a time to make decisions about our future. Make a good choice and join us at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Comfort Hall for the Five Wishes Workshop, Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m.
For those of you unfamiliar, Five Wishes is an easy-to-use legal advance directive document written in every day language. It helps all adults, regardless of age or health, to consider and document how they want to be cared for at the end of life. There are so many things to think about so your family is not left guessing about what you would want done or not done.
Nurse Caryle Regan will lead us through the important questions that need to be answered by you in how to inform your survivors about instructions for end of life decisions.
Talking about death and what your wishes are is not a favorite subject but being prepared for your final wishes could be such a gift for your family. Please come to the workshop and learn how you can provide this gift to your family by being prepared. Information will also be offered on how to plan your own memorial service to help your family know your wishes.
Reservations are required and there is limited seating. Make your reservation by contacting Janette Sherley at jjay39@aol.com.
