Wellness articles are now available on our Website, beaconofhopepineisland.com. These articles are changed every couple of weeks. Past ones are archived so can be read at any time. The present series is on mental health with the first one being on mental health in general. Following was one on PTSD and now one on isolation. Following will be other specific problems such as anxiety and depression – how to recognize the symptoms, what can be done about it, and how you can help.

There are different ways that can contribute to positive mental health. One such way is meditation. There will be a class on Buddhist Meditation on Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 1 p.m. Stay tuned for more details.
