Matlacha Lighted Boat Parade this weekend
The Matlacha Lighted Boat Parade is set for Saturday, Dec. 11. Boats will gather on the south side of the Matlacha Bridge (behind Bert’s Bar and Grill) at 5:30 p.m. The parade starts at 6 p.m., when the bridge opens.
The parade will go through the bridge and along the shoreline of Matlacha. All boaters are welcome to join in the parade. The Kayak Club will be participating again this year.
The best viewing is from the bridge. The Yacht Club of Matlacha is sponsoring the event.
