M/PIFCD to hold Christmas Tree Lighting Dec. 10
The Matlacha/Pine Island Fire Control District will hold its Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Friday, Dec. 10, from 6-8 p.m. Get into the holiday spirit with hot cocoa, cookies, holiday arts & crafts, and a very jolly guest from the North Pole. Our special guest may even bring a special treat for all the kids!
This will provide a great opportunity to get a picture with Santa.
Also, don’t forget there is a special mailbox for the North Pole at Station 1, located at 5700 Pine Island Road, Bokeelia. Youngsters can drop off their letters between Dec. 1 and 17. Santa’s helpers kindly ask that you include a self-addressed and stamped envelope if you would like to receive a letter back from the North Pole.
