Matlacha Lighted Boat Parade Dec. 11
The Matlacha Lighted Boat Parade will be held Saturday, Dec. 11.
Boats will gather on the south side of the Matlacha Bridge (behind Bert’s Bar and Grill at 4271 Pine Island Road) at 5:30 p.m. The parade starts at 6 p.m., when the bridge opens.
The parade will go through the bridge and along the shoreline of Matlacha. All area boaters are welcome to join in the parade.
The Kayak Club will be participating again this year.
The best viewing is from the bridge. The Yacht Club of Matlacha is sponsoring the event.
