Pine Island Elementary School Scholastic Book Fair Sept. 10-17
Pine Island Elementary School has announced that the fall Scholastic Book Fair will be held from Sept. 10-17. This event provides students an opportunity to purchase a book of their choice.
The books range from $4-$20 on a variety of topics and reading levels. Individual classrooms will sign up for time slots in the media center and preview the various books and have an opportunity to purchase books.

Newman has supported this event for many years and she said, “Students are so excited for the Book Fair to be back in our school! I love being able to provide every student with a book that they are able to take home and read.”
Principal Tom Millins said, “In the period of COVID, we have been limited on the number of functions and activities we have scheduled this year. We are very proud to be able to schedule this event and have the annual book fair at PIE. This is something the students get very excited about each year.”
