Medicare Lunch & Learn at the Legion on Sept. 16
The popular Medicare Lunch & Learn program is returning to the island during Medicare’s Education Week in September. The program will be held Thursday, Sept. 16, at 10 a.m., at the American Legion Post 136, 4106 Stringfellow Road, St. James City.
The program, hosted by Kathy Thousand, is designed to educate you on how the Medicare system works and what you need to know as a new or upcoming enrollee. All parts of Medicare, including Supplement/Medigap, Advantage, Prescription Plans, as well as enrollment periods and associated costs, will be reviewed. Printed literature will be available and the 90-minute program will be followed by lunch and a Q&A session.
This is a no-cost educational program, but kindly RSVP as only the first 20 people can be accommodated. (There will be social distancing.)
